I had the opportunity to take my Nikon D60 to a recent Matthew Good concert at the Triple Door Lounge. These are some of the images I had the good fortune to capture the second night he played.

I finally got the hang of my shutter speed and lighting for this shot, but I’m still pulling out the manual to figure out how to make my photography sharper and more informed. Anyway, my photoblog will cease to be lame and unused now that I can actually give time to photography again. Be afraid!!

Yarrr, thar be treasure thar!I've recently begun really digging into my manual applications and this was a decent and pleasing success. Bling! I was then asked by one of the employees of the Pawn shop to NOT take photos, thus learning lesson #25 in photography. Either ask someone if it's ok to take snaps, or be really really good and flash and dash.

Am I the girl who takes pictures of fruit stands? So. It. Seems. *grins* I was convinced to buy my very first New Zealand Jazz apple. This turned out to be a very good decision as it was the juciest, sweetest apple I’ve had all year. PPM, you rule.

High Flight
